If you notice this model's forecast turning vivid green, yellow, or ideally red, it indicates a high probability of Aurora activity. To accurately interpret this forecast, it is essential to be aware of the K-index (Kp) shown in the diagram below. If you wish to delve deeper into the forecast, please refer to our Aurora Viewing page. By utilizing accurate data from NOAA, you can gain the ability to forecast the aurora on your own!
